ABOUT TECHWEEN
Techween: Cultivating a Thriving Community of Tech Talent in Jordan is a four-year project funded by DROSOS Foundation aims to address the skills gap in Jordan’s ICT sector by working with young people to enhance their practical experience, collaborative learning opportunities, and pathways into the tech labour market.
The project focuses on three main tracks:
- Networks: Building an engaged national community of tech enthusiasts.
- Tech Guilds: Creating specialised communities of practice in key tech fields.
- OpenLab: Offering apprenticeship-style experience and mentorship linked to real-world projects.
Techween is approaching the completion of its second year of implementation and entering a phase focused on consolidating progress, strengthening networks, and expanding opportunities for practical learning and collaboration to ensure sustainable outcomes. The Project Manager plays a central role in leading the project’s day-to-day implementation, ensuring that activities are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards, while maintaining effective coordination, stakeholder engagement, and monitoring.
